Emily A. Bronson, MA, MPH, LCCE, CD(DONA)

I am a trained and certified birth doula, a certified childbirth educator, and a lactation counselor. I've worked with families since 2010 and I am passionate about birth and breastfeeding.

I believe birth is normal and natural, and that through education and support, mothers are able to make informed decisions that are best for their body, their birth and their baby.

I know that birth can be an empowering, transformative occasion for a birthing person; one that they will remember always.

My degrees are in anthropology and public health, and I work in maternal and child health quality improvement. I spend my free time keeping up with the latest research in birth, breastfeeding, and evidence-based maternity care.

I hope that you learn enough about birth, and your choices and rights in birth, to make educated decisions and know what your priorities and values are.

I hope you know that you have many options and variations in terms of maternity care, and that you feel empowered to make decisions regarding your care and advocate for yourself.
