It is always wonderful to hear from past clients and see photos of my doula babies as they grow.
It is even more wonderful to hear that they are pregnant again! It is always a privilege to be present for the birth of more than one child in a family.
Recently I had again had that privilege to work with a family in welcoming their second child into the world.
My favorite moment of the birth was when mom pushed out her baby (standing up!) and then finally checked to see if it was a boy or a girl. The shocked and amazed expressions on both mom and dad's faces when the unexpected sex was revealed were absolutely priceless!
